Checklist for the Team (Stage 1)

  • The team has created agreements on how to interact, make decisions, and do work
  • Team members hold themselves and each other accountable
  • There were no activities the team knew were problematic and let continue
  • You ensured you fully understood details of items discussed by the team requiring a collective decision
  • Everything needed to build your product is in version control
  • When the build fails, fixing it is the top priority
  • Use Timeboxes to
    • Ensure decisions get made
    • Problems requiring assistance don’t languish
    • Shrink the development “size” achieving continuous flow
    • Minimize risk
  • It’s well known when you can interrupt the team and when you can’t
  • Continuously review the work quality, process effectiveness and learning progress
